Emyr is a well known face to the diverse viewers of S4C. To some he is better known for his portrayal of Rhydian in the popular series Rownd a Rownd (Ffilmiau'r Nant), to others he is best known as DI Lewis, Pobol y Cwm (BBC Wales) and the young viewers would recognise him as Jaci Soch, Jac Do and Daf Dafad in Pentre Bach (Sianco). Gary Griffiths was born and raised in Llanelli, South Wales. He travelled on tour to the US with the world renowned Pontarddulais Male Choir in October 2007. Future engagements include Handel’s Messiah with Cantorion Bro Nedd, Haydn’s Mass in Time of War at Llangennech Church and he will make his Barbican Hall debut in March 2008 performing a recital of Benjamin Britten folk songs.
