David Last has announced his departure from the Pontarddulais Male Choir. He was appointed principal accompanist of Pontarddulais following the retirement of Noel Davies in 2002, and has accompanied them to victory at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, and three wins at the National Eisteddfod including twice winners of the Côr yr Wyl ( Choir of the festival)
In April David takes on the role of Musical Director of the Dowlais Male Choir, he is also the Musical Director of the Cardiff Arms Park Male Choir,
David will be sadly missed by us and the Choir wishes him great success in his new role.
The position of Principal accompanist is now vacant. All applications to be made via the Choir Secretary with a CV.
